Job Description
Manage, maintain, and optimize VMware virtualization infrastructure, Windows Server (Wintel), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Perform installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of VMware, Windows Server, and Linux infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure high system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms.
- Design and implement virtualization and server infrastructure to support high availability and business continuity.
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and operational activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum
- 8 years of experience
- in Infrastructure, System Engineer, VMware Engineer, or similar roles.
- Experience managing VMware products, including
- vCenter, vSphere, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSphere Replication (vReplic), and vRealize Operations (vROps)
- Strong experience administering
- Windows Server (Wintel)
- and
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Able to troubleshoot and analyze infrastructure issues related to system performance, virtualization, Windows Server, and Linux.
- Experienced in VMware, Windows Server, and RHEL design, implementation, maintenance, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- VMware, Microsoft, or Red Hat certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
