Service Manager

About the role

Lead and manage all operational activities of the workshop and after-sales service at an electric vehicle (EV) dealer branch for the LEPAS brand. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical work, including inspection, routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on customer vehicles, acting as the lead mechanic.

• Key responsibilities
• Lead and manage all operational activities of the workshop and after-sales service branch
• Perform technical work including inspection, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on customer vehicles

Manage service queues, monitor spare parts availability (coordinating with Parts Manager), and ensure all work complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) from the manufacturer

• Use computer diagnostic tools to analyse technical issues in electrical systems and EV software
• Provide transparent and professional technical explanations, time estimates, and repair cost details to customers
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and completeness of workshop equipment and work areas
• Achieve high customer satisfaction levels with minimal return jobs
• Meet workshop revenue targets on a monthly and annual basis
• Ensure efficient, safe, and well-organised workshop operations
• About you
• Minimum SMK qualification in Automotive/Electrical Engineering (D3/S1 in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience as Senior Mechanic, Foreman, Service Advisor, or Workshop Head in the four-wheel automotive industry

Strong technical understanding, particularly in vehicle electrics, diagnostic systems, and preferably experience with Electric Vehicle (EV) technology

• Leadership qualities, responsibility, and strong communication skills for handling customers
• Detail-oriented, quick to act, and able to work under pressure
• Willing to be placed in Bandar Lampung (company provides accommodation/mess facilities for candidates from outside the area)
