• We are seeking a talented and creative
• Social Media Expert

to join the team at Bamboo bar & grill restaurant in Bali. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive business growth. As a key member of our marketing and communications team, you will play a crucial role in building our digital community and establishing Bamboo as a leading lifestyle destination in Bali. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the vibrant hospitality sector whilst leveraging your expertise in digital and search marketing to create meaningful connections with our customers.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other emerging channels to increase brand awareness and customer engagement

Create, curate and schedule high-quality content including images, videos, stories and reels that reflect the Bamboo brand identity and resonate with our target audience

Monitor social media performance using analytics tools to track key metrics, identify trends and optimise content strategy based on data-driven insights

Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with followers

• Collaborate with influencers, local businesses and partners to expand our reach and create mutually beneficial promotional opportunities
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns and special offers through social media to drive foot traffic and increase reservations
• Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes and best practices to ensure our content remains current and effective
• Create monthly reports and presentations detailing social media performance, insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Manage the social media advertising budget effectively, running targeted campaigns to reach specific audience segments and maximise return on investment

What we're looking for

Proven experience of at least 3-5 years working as a Social Media Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist, ideally within the hospitality, food and beverage or lifestyle industry

Advanced proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and expertise in content creation across various formats including photography, videography and graphic design

Demonstrated expertise in social media advertising, including experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and other paid social platforms

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics, generate insights and translate data into actionable recommendations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling copy and engage audiences authentically
• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
• Familiarity with SEO and search marketing principles to enhance visibility and reach
• Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative, trendsetting content ideas that capture attention and encourage engagement
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and campaigns simultaneously
• Knowledge of the Bali market and understanding of local culture, tourism trends and hospitality sector dynamics is highly advantageous
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus
