About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging social media content for international audiences.
If you enjoy storytelling through short-form videos, understand what makes content perform on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, and have a good sense of pacing, trends, and visual aesthetics, we'd love to hear from you.
This role requires someone who is proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Produce long-form videos when required
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and background music
- Color correction and basic audio enhancement
- Create engaging hooks within the first 3–5 seconds
- Follow branding guidelines while maintaining creative freedom
- Organize project files efficiently
- Meet project deadlines consistently
- Communicate effectively with the content and marketing team
- Suggest creative improvements and editing ideas
Requirements
- Must Have
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Video Editor
- Proficient in Video Editing tools
- Strong understanding of social media content trends
- Good storytelling ability through video editing
- Able to work with fast turnaround times
- Strong attention to detail
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Able to follow English instructions without translation
- Responsible, disciplined, and self-motivated
- Nice to Have
- Able to speak or understand Mandarin Chinese
- Experience editing content for international audiences
- Familiar with AI editing tools
- Experience creating viral short-form content
- Motion graphics experience
- Graphic design skills
- Photography or videography experience
