We are looking for a skilled and passionate Back-End Developer to join our growing technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power enterprise applications across various industries.
As a Back-End Developer, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Front-End Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
- Ultimately, you’ll implement and maintain Java components and frameworks throughout the software development life cycle.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
- Build secure, reliable, and high-performance server-side applications.
- Design and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and support integration and system testing activities.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Support deployment activities and production issue resolution.
- Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or Software Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, C#, .NET, Node.js, Go, or Python.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and application security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
