Softqu Innovation Hub is looking to hire a QA Engineer (Manual Testing) with strong attention to detail and experience testing web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• 1- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different browsers, devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• 2- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and checklists based on requirements and designs.
• 3- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.
• 4- Identify, document, and report bugs clearly with proper steps to reproduce, screenshots, videos, and supporting information.
• 5- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• 6- Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Figma designs to identify potential issues before development is completed.
• 7- Validate application behavior and UI across desktop, tablet, Android, and iOS devices.

8- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, product managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality releases across web and mobile platforms.

Requirements

• 1- Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2- At least 2 years of experience in Manual Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• 3- Hands-on experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• 4- Good understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 5- Experience writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• 6- Experience reporting and tracking bugs using Jira or similar tools.
• 7- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify functional and UI/UX issues.
• 8- Experience testing responsive web applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.
• 9- Experience testing mobile applications on Android and/or iOS devices.
• 10- Experience working with Figma and validating implemented web and mobile interfaces against UI/UX designs.
• 11- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
• 12- Good communication and documentation skills.
• 13- Good English communication skills are required, as English is the primary spoken and working language within the team.
• Note, it's an advantage if you have experience with the following:
• 1- API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• 2- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• 3- Basic knowledge of automated testing concepts and tools.
• 4- Experience testing mobile application releases, installation, upgrades, permissions, and device-specific behavior.
• Work is fully remote.
