• Solution Architect

, you will be responsible for understanding customer business and technical requirements and translating them into scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions.

Your responsibilities will include

Engage with customers to understand their business objectives, existing infrastructure, technical challenges, workloads, security requirements, and future technology roadmap.

Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive solution architectures covering compute, virtualization, storage, networking, backup, disaster recovery, security, and cloud infrastructure.

Design end-to-end architectures for private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud, virtualization, container platforms, backup, disaster recovery, and modern data center infrastructure.

Develop solution architecture documents, high-level designs (HLD), solution diagrams, bills of materials (BOM), capacity planning, sizing, and technical proposals.

• Evaluate customer environments and recommend appropriate architecture, technologies, products, and implementation approaches.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture workshops, solution presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) with customers.

Validate proposed solutions to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, security, availability, performance, interoperability, and operational readiness.

Work closely with sales and presales teams to develop technically sound solutions for customer opportunities.

Collaborate with implementation, operations, product, and engineering teams to ensure that proposed architectures can be successfully delivered and operated.

• Provide architectural guidance during implementation and assist technical teams in resolving complex design or integration issues.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints during the solution design process.
• Communicate customer requirements and product feedback to internal product and operational teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, product developments, industry trends, and competing solutions.

Develop architecture standards, solution templates, reference architectures, and technical documentation that can be reused across customer engagements.

• Provide technical enablement and knowledge sharing to sales, presales, engineering, and operational teams.
• Support customers in developing cloud adoption, migration, modernization, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Preferably at least 5 years of professional experience in roles such as Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Presales Engineer, Cloud Consultant, Systems Engineer, or similar technical positions.

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and IaaS architecture, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, security, backup, and disaster recovery.

Experience designing solutions for cloud providers, managed service providers, enterprise infrastructure environments, or system integrators is highly preferred.

Strong experience with virtualization and cloud technologies such as: VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, VMware Cloud Director, VMware vSAN, VMware Aria / vRealize, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), OpenStack, Red Hat OpenShift

• Familiarity with backup, replication, and disaster recovery technologies such as: Veeam, Zerto
• Knowledge of enterprise server and infrastructure platforms from vendors such as: Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro
• Understanding of enterprise networking technologies and solutions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture principles, including
• high availability, scalability, resiliency, security, performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery
• Ability to develop clear architecture diagrams, solution designs, technical proposals, sizing documents, and implementation recommendations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable communicating with engineers, IT managers, architects, executives, and business decision-makers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for investigating complex technical challenges.

Ability to evaluate multiple technologies and recommend solutions based on technical requirements, business objectives, operational considerations, and cost.

• Ability to manage and contribute to multiple customer engagements, architecture initiatives, workshops, and POCs concurrently.
• Strong proposal writing and technical documentation skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Relevant professional certifications in cloud, virtualization, networking, infrastructure, or architecture are highly desirable.
• PMP certification is a plus.
