Deskripsi pekerjaan Sr. Manufacturing & Quality Engineer PT Eterna Nexus Sincera
Our client, a new Electric Vehicle (EV) startup, is preparing its first electric motorcycle for production in Indonesia. This hands-on senior role will ensure suppliers and the assembly partner are ready to produce safe, consistent, high-quality motorcycles.
- Role details
- Location: South Jakarta, with regular supplier and factory visits.
- Reports to: Head of Manufacturing Operations.
- Level: Senior individual contributor.
- Main responsibilities
- Validate manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, work instructions and assembly controls.
- Manage supplier quality, part approvals, inspection standards and corrective actions.
- Support pilot builds, troubleshoot production issues and verify readiness for production.
- Establish acceptance criteria, end-of-line testing and traceability requirements.
- Audit partner quality controls, hold suspect parts or vehicles, and recommend release based on evidence.
- Improve quality, productivity and cost using production data and customer feedback.
- Required qualifications
- Typically 7+ years in manufacturing, industrialization or quality engineering.
- Experience taking automotive, motorcycle or comparable electromechanical products from pilot builds into repeatable production.
- Strong practical skills in assembly, supplier quality, process validation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret drawings, tolerances, BOMs and specifications; working knowledge of PFMEA, control plans and root-cause analysis.
- Working proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with willingness to travel.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred
Motorcycle or EV experience, Chinese supplier and Indonesian assembly experience, APQP/PPAP knowledge, battery or electrical testing expertise, startup experience and Mandarin.
