About the role
- We are seeking a
- Store Supervisor
- to join PT Karunia Kuliner Indonesia (Restaurant Remboelan) in Semarang, Central Java. This is a
- full-time position
based at our Semarang location. As Store Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our restaurant, maintaining our high standards of service and hospitality. You will be responsible for leading the team, managing staff performance, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This position is integral to the success of our establishment and your leadership will directly impact our reputation and profitability.
- What you'll be doing
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures
- Lead, train, motivate and supervise restaurant staff across all service shifts, including servers, kitchen assistants and support personnel
- Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards to ensure they meet our established benchmarks
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance and performance reviews
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management, stock control and ordering of supplies
- Report to management on daily operations, including sales figures, staff performance and any operational issues
- Ensure cash handling procedures are followed correctly and conduct till reconciliation
- Support the development and implementation of restaurant promotions and special events
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment that reflects our company values
- What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in restaurant supervision or hospitality management
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and preferably some English
- In-depth knowledge of food service operations, health and safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Proven ability to handle customer service issues with professionalism and composure
- Sound mathematical skills for handling cash, invoices and basic accounting responsibilities
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform various duties throughout the restaurant
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with restaurant point-of-sale systems is advantageous
