Studio Operations Manager — MOJO Pilates & Recovery

About the role

MOJO is looking for a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Studio Operations Manager to oversee the daily operation of our Pilates studio, recovery facilities, café, and sportswear shop. This is a hands-on management role. The Studio Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that every area is clean, fully equipped, properly staffed, and ready to provide customers with an excellent MOJO experience.

• Key responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the entire MOJO studio, including opening and closing checks and ensuring all areas are ready on time

Inspect Pilates rooms before and after classes and ensure equipment and class materials are clean, safe, correctly arranged, and available in sufficient quantities

Check that the recovery area is cleaned, sanitized, stocked, and ready for customers, and ensure reception, changing areas, toilets, café, shop, and shared spaces remain clean and presentable throughout the day

Supervise and coordinate receptionists, cleaners, café staff, and maintenance personnel

Prepare and manage staff schedules, shifts, breaks, absences, and replacements, and assign daily responsibilities with follow-up to confirm completion

Train team members on MOJO's service standards, operating procedures, hygiene rules, and safety requirements, and provide regular feedback

Welcome customers, guide them through the studio, engage with them to create a friendly atmosphere, and handle questions, special requests, complaints, and service issues professionally

Coordinate with instructors and reception to ensure classes start on time and run smoothly, and monitor the condition of Pilates and recovery equipment

Monitor inventory of beverages, café products, cleaning supplies, towels, toiletries, class materials, retail products, and other operational items, and maintain accurate stock records

Ensure the studio follows MOJO's cleaning, hygiene, safety, and emergency procedures, and record accidents, injuries, customer complaints, and unusual incidents

• About you
• Good spoken and written English is required
• Previous experience in studio, hospitality, wellness, fitness, retail, or operations management is preferred
• Experience supervising staff and managing schedules
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Highly organized, responsible, and attentive to detail
• Able to manage several areas and priorities at the same time
• Comfortable handling complaints and solving problems independently
• Basic understanding of inventory, purchasing, sales, and cost control
• Confident using scheduling, booking, messaging, and basic reporting tools
• Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays when required
