- Task and Responsibilities
- Works with a wide range of technologies, and Cloud products. Build backend server environments.
- Create processes that can be leveraged to help drive efficiencies and quality.
- Design and operate operational excellence.
- Drive automation of environments to drive scalability of the team.
- Work with backend developer to design and operate high availability systems.
- Build operational excellence mechanisms to drive Tier-1 application standards.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines for company applications.
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to improve processes and software quality.
- Automate manual processes, improve system efficiency, and ensure repeatability using scripting languages such as Python, or Bash.
- Selection Criteria
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in software development, devops or related field.
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Informatics Engineering or related field.
- Proven work experiences to design and setup backend (cloud or on premise) server from scratch for a successful Web or Mobile App Developer or similar role, on cloud or on premises.
- Strong debugging and systems analysis skills to be able to identify and quickly resolve/mitigate issues.
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices, particularly within cloud environments.
- Ability to track the health of our services, identify and fix problems on complex systems.
- Experience and expertise in handling cloud provider GCP.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Experience working with microservices architecture and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong ability to manage and operate Linux environments, including configuration, hardening, troubleshooting, and command-line–based automation.
Skill required
- Linux Operating System : Redhat, Ubuntu, Alpine
- Computer Network : TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, VPN IPsec, Reverse Proxy, Load Balancers, NAT.
3. Orchestration & Containerization
- Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, autoscaling, RBAC, secrets)
- Docker (image build, optimization, registry management)
- CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Database Management Systems (DBMS) : PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle.
- Monitoring & Observability : Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring.
