Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual tax returns (SPT Masa & Tahunan) in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
Handle various types of taxes, including
- PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 26
- PPh 25
- Value Added Tax (PPN)
- Ensure timely submission of tax reports to avoid penalties and sanctions.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized tax documentation.
- Tax Reconciliation
- Perform regular reconciliation between accounting records and tax reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between commercial and fiscal data.
- Prepare fiscal adjustments and supporting schedules.
- Tax Payment & Monitoring
- Calculate tax liabilities accurately and ensure timely tax payments.
- Monitor tax payment schedules and compliance with deadlines.
- Maintain proper records of tax payments and official receipts (SSP / e-billing).
- Vendor Tax Verification
- Review vendor invoices to ensure correct tax treatment (PPN and withholding taxes).
- Ensure proper withholding and remittance of vendor-related taxes.
Review vendor tax documentation, including
- Tax Invoices (Faktur Pajak)
- NPWP validity
- Coordinate with Procurement and Accounts Payable teams regarding vendor tax compliance.
- Tax Audit & Correspondence
- Prepare data and documents required for tax audits or inquiries from tax authorities.
- Act as liaison with tax consultants and the tax office (DJP).
- Follow up on tax assessments, objections, or appeals as required.
- Regulatory Update & Tax Risk Management
- Monitor updates to Indonesian tax regulations and assess business impact.
- Provide recommendations to management on tax compliance and efficiency.
- Identify potential tax risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Parent Company Transactions
- Prepare journal entries related to parent company transactions.
- Prepare financial statements for the parent company.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the parent company audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in taxation, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and reporting systems (Coretax).
- Certified in Tax Brevet A & B.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
