About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Bricks 4 Kidz Surabaya on a full-time basis. This role is located in Surabaya, East Java, and offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational development. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive lessons that encourage creativity and foster a love of learning. You will play a crucial role in our mission to provide transformative educational experiences that develop the whole child.

• Key responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse age groups and learning styles
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning objectives
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and performance
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and teaching strategies
• Model positive behaviour and promote values such as respect, creativity, and curiosity
• Ensure all classroom materials and resources are organised, maintained, and used appropriately
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
• What we're looking for
• Teaching qualification or relevant certification in education or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working with children in an educational or tutoring environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and parents
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial
• Ability to create dynamic, interactive learning experiences that engage and inspire students
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies
• Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for education and supporting children's learning
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and safeguarding responsibilities
