About the role

• We are seeking a
• Technical Manager

to join our operations in Boyolali, Central Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing technical operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across our manufacturing processes. As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing technical teams, implementing best practices, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position is strategically important to our organisation, as it directly impacts our production efficiency, product quality, and overall operational excellence.

• What you'll be doing
• Oversee daily technical operations and supervise technical staff members to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company standards
• Develop and implement technical processes, procedures, and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and production losses
• Collaborate with production teams to optimise manufacturing processes and improve product quality
• Conduct root cause analysis on technical problems and implement preventative measures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
• Provide technical training and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Prepare technical reports, performance metrics, and recommendations for senior management
• Manage technical budgets and control costs related to equipment maintenance and repairs
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing programmes
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and vendors to ensure timely support and resolution of technical issues
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical management or supervisory role within the manufacturing or textile industry
• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop technical teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
• Proficiency in using technical software and equipment management systems
• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable
• Experience with machinery maintenance and preventative maintenance programmes
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
