TECHNICAL SUPPORT – ARCHITECTURAL
About the Role
- PT. Meranti Adi Perkasa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
- Technical Support – Architectural
- professional to join our team in
- Serpong, Banten
- This is a
- full-time position
responsible for providing technical support related to architectural products, drawings, specifications, and project requirements. You will work closely with the
- Sales, Project, Design, Production, and Installation teams
- , as well as architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure that technical requirements are properly understood and delivered.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in architecture and technical drawing, is able to understand project requirements, and can translate design concepts into practical technical solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Sales, Project, and Design teams regarding architectural products and applications.
- Prepare, review, and revise
- technical drawings, shop drawings, and detail drawings
- based on project requirements.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Provide technical recommendations regarding product selection, dimensions, installation methods, and applications.
- Review project drawings to ensure dimensions, specifications, materials, and technical details are accurate.
- Assist the Sales team in responding to technical inquiries from customers, architects, contractors, and consultants.
- Conduct
- site visits and measurements
- when required to verify actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, production, and installation teams regarding technical requirements.
- Prepare technical documents, material specifications, product data, and installation guidelines.
- Support the preparation of
- BOQ, material calculations, and technical proposals
- when required.
- Identify potential technical issues during the design, production, or installation process and provide appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and follow up technical issues related to projects until they are resolved.
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance to installation teams regarding product application and installation procedures.
- Support product improvement by providing feedback from projects, customers, and field conditions.
- Ensure all technical documentation follows company standards and project requirements.
- What We're Looking For
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in
- Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum
- 1–2 years of experience
- in architectural technical support, drafting, engineering, project support, or a related position.
- Proficiency in
- AutoCAD
- is required.
- Knowledge of
- SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural/design software
- is an advantage.
- Able to read and understand
- architectural and technical drawings
- Good understanding of building construction, architectural details, dimensions, and materials.
- Experience preparing
- shop drawings and detail drawings
- is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of architectural products, façade, doors/windows, aluminium, glass, interior products, or building materials is an advantage.
- Good understanding of
- BOQ, material specifications, and project documentation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in measurements, drawings, and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills with architects, contractors, clients, Sales, Production, and Project teams.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willing to conduct
- site visits and travel to project locations
- when required.
- Able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's licence
- is preferred.
