About the Role

• Continued growth in the mining sector in Indonesia has determined the need to create a
• 12-month fixed term contract

for a Territory Sales Manager to lead and support the growth opportunity of Victaulic in the Kalimantan region, focused on coal and bauxite opportunities and projects. The position will be reviewed periodically against agreed KPIs and business objectives. Subject to sustained business requirements and successful performance, Victaulic may consider transitioning the role to an ongoing position.

In addition, you will

• Develop and generate revenue focused on mining dewatering, tailings and other associated opportunities in the region.
• Convert and establish repeat orders through key mining contractors and owners.
• Develop accurate forecast and opportunity mapping of whole region.
• Maximise opportunities by effective planning, scheduling and managing territory coverage.
• Identify and perform the work which must be done to achieve intended results.
• Assist in training specifier, distributor and contractor staff through promotional meetings.
• Investigate, evaluate and resolve complaints accordingly.

Keep management advised on matters of specific business interest such as market conditions, competitive situations, product needs etc. Consult on matters of policy, unusual situations, pricing etc.

• Update internal Victaulic CRM software daily.
• Prepare and submit a weekly report on the territory.
• About You

To be successful in this role, you must have

Proven experience in a business development, account management, or sales roles, with a strong track record of success in complex B2B industrial environments.

• Established network of contacts within the Indonesian mining sector - specifically owners.
• Background in technical/specification sales within the mining dewatering and tailings sector is ideal.
• Experience in pumped systems within the region is desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A sales/performance driven approach and a "hungry for business" sense of drive
• A valid Driver’s license and willing to travel as required
• Full working rights in Indonesia
