What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specs.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using scripting languages and modern test frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or anomalies using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand feature scope and edge cases.
- Perform thorough regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) before production releases.
- Actively contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards across teams.
- Support performance, security, and exploratory testing efforts as needed.
What You'll Need
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
Familiar with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and basic exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases, break down requirements, and think critically about potential failures.
- Able to clearly document bugs, reproduce issues, and communicate findings in a structured manner.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and designers in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new tools/technologies with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
