Transaction Banking & Trade Head

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the team in developing the Bank's business, particularly in the areas of Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, and improving the CASA Ratio, including:

a. Support Business Units and Branches in achieving Fee Income, Interest Income, and business volume targets through Trade Finance, Transaction Banking products & solutions, and CASA cross-selling initiatives by conducting marketing and sales activities for both existing and prospective customers.

b. Provide advisory services on Trade Finance structures and solutions related to credit facilities and the execution of Trade Finance transactions, including import, export, bank guarantees, and other trade-related services.

c. Provide advisory services and product solutions for Transaction Banking (including payroll, virtual accounts, payment solutions & collections, and digital platforms), while promoting cross-selling opportunities with existing lending facilities and funding products to both existing and prospective customers.

d. Drive initiatives to improve the Bank's CASA Ratio and increase the proportion of low-cost funds, thereby reducing the Bank's overall cost of funds through cross-selling programs across business segments and branches.

e. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external parties to support Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, and CASA cross-selling initiatives.

• f. Develop organizational capabilities through product socialization, training programs, and seminars for employees and customers.
• g. Execute marketing and sales activities through events, promotional programs, and other customer engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Management, or other related fields.

Have 15 years of total working experience in Trade Finance, Transaction Banking / Cash Management in the Banking industry, with proven leadership experience in handling subordinates.

• Extensive network and strong relationships across industry and government institutions.
• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Strong understanding of general credit risk management principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, and Cash Management products and services.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of business processes, with the ability to prepare and interpret business reports.

Minimum Risk Management Certification in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and the organizational job level for positions reporting directly below the Board of Directors.
