Job Summary
The Treasury Manager is responsible for the core back-office functions of treasury: payment processing, treasury systems administration, and bank account management. This role safeguards the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of payment flows and bank reconciliations, upholds strong operational controls, and ensures accurate, on-time month-end reporting and submission. It also provides critical backup coverage across key treasury activities.
The role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, business units, and external financial institutions to drive operational excellence while maintaining strong governance and compliance. The Treasury Manager also supports the Head of Back Office on process improvement, system enhancements, and treasury controls initiatives.
Execute, confirm, and settle treasury deals — including FX, money markets, US Treasuries, and derivatives — accurately and on time.
Process high-volume domestic and international wire transfers with strict accuracy and full compliance with authorization matrices.
Manage the lifecycle of bank accounts, including opening, closure, and migration; track banking fees; maintain compliance with banks' AML/KYC requirements; and administer user access and account documentation.
Monitor daily cash positions and bank balance reconciliations; investigate and resolve payment or deposit discrepancies and failed transactions promptly; deliver accurate month-end and quarter-end treasury reporting on schedule.
Maintain and update the treasury SOP manual; ensure proper segregation of duties in line with policy; support internal/external audit and risk management reviews.
Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of the Treasury Management System (TMS) and support treasury automation and process improvement initiatives.
Advise business units on requests for bank instruments (SBLC, BG, LOC) and coordinate documentation requirements with Treasury Front Office and banking partners.
Support ad hoc treasury projects and initiatives as assigned.
