Trucking Supervisor (EMKL Vendor Management)

• We are a dynamic freight forwarding company in Jakarta seeking an experienced
• Trucking Supervisor

. Because we operate an asset-light model without our own fleet, your primary responsibility is sourcing, negotiating with, and managing third-party trucking vendors. You will ensure seamless inland transportation fulfillment for our customers' diverse cargo needs.

• Key Responsibilities
• Vendor Sourcing & Management
• Source and onboard reliable third-party trucking vendors across Greater Jakarta and nationwide.
• Negotiate competitive rates and build good relationship with vendor.
• Maintain an active database of backup vendors to handle peak seasons or emergencies.
• Operations & Customer Service
• Match customer requirements (FTL, LTL, container haulage) with the right trucking vendor.
• Monitor daily dispatches and track shipments from pickup points to final destinations.
• Resolve transit issues quickly, including vehicle breakdowns, delays, or route changes.
• Provide accurate updates to the customer service team regarding delivery status.
• Compliance & Administration
• Verify vendor documentation including licenses, insurance, and safety permits.
• Review trucking invoices against agreed rates to ensure accurate billing and cost control.
• Analyze logistics data to find cost-saving opportunities and improve routing efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years in trucking operations or vendor management within a freight forwarding or 3PL environment.
• Existing, strong relationships with trucking companies and drivers in Jakarta/Java.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; professional proficiency in English is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheet
• The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment is highly valued.
• PPJK certification is a plus.
