About the role
Green Garden Hotel, part of the prestigious Febris Hotels Group, is seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join our dynamic food and beverage team. This is a full-time position based at our stunning property in Kuta, Bali. As a Waiter or Waitress, you will be the face of our hospitality offering, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. This role is fundamental to creating memorable moments for our guests and contributing to the reputation of Green Garden Hotel as a premier hospitality destination.
- Key responsibilities
- Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the restaurant or dining area
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serving food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring all items are presented according to standard specifications
- Maintaining impeccable table settings and ensuring dining areas remain clean, organised and inviting throughout service periods
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, beverages and specials based on guest preferences
- Handling guest requests and concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Assisting with pre-service and post-service duties, including table preparation and resetting
- Collaborating effectively with kitchen, bar and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a hospitality establishment for at least 1 year with international guests
- Excellent communication in English
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure during busy service periods
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, dining etiquette and menu items
- Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and familiarity with restaurant management software
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to carry trays and heavy items safely
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written); additional language skills are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Domicile in Bali (although not necessarily holding a KTP provinsi Bali).
