About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter/Service Staff to join our team at PT Hookah Place Partnership in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will be at the forefront of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a Waiter/Service Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every guest receives outstanding attention to detail, warm hospitality, and seamless service throughout their visit to our establishment.

• What you'll be doing
• Greeting guests with a warm welcome and seating them promptly at appropriate tables
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests whilst providing recommendations
• Serving food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with their selections
• Ensuring tables are set correctly with appropriate cutlery, glassware, and napkins before each service
• Clearing plates and glasses promptly between courses whilst maintaining table cleanliness
• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
• Addressing guest queries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations
• Maintaining personal hygiene and adhering to food safety and health standards
• Resetting and cleaning tables for the next service
• Assisting with general restaurant maintenance and upkeep throughout shifts
• What we're looking for
• Previous experience in a waiter or service staff role within a hospitality setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage courteously with diverse guests
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry multiple items safely
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Fluency in English or Indonesian is highly desirable
