Job description for Welder at Techcom Technology Pte Ltd
Job Description
Perform fabrication / welding work using TIG, MIG, Spot welding or other welding processes and other general sheet metal fabrication work, grinding, buffing, press nut, tapping, countersunk, rolling, knocking and others.
- Clean up fabrication / weld stain if any.
- Perform self-check on fabricated / welded dimensions and tolerances and record in the job order.
- Ensure fabrication / welding machines and tools are properly maintained and calibrated if needed.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance correctly and promptly
- Control and ensure right fabrication / welding consumables are used for the fabrication process.
- Ensure all fabrication / welding work meets drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance to fabrication / welding procedure and standards.
- Ensure workplace safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices in the shop floor area.
Job Requirement
- Minimum NTC 2 or have at least 3 years welding experiences.
- Able to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding machines, tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
