In addition, the position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with wine principals, distributors, key accounts, and market stakeholders, including handling forecasting, ordering, and evaluating sales and brand performance, as well as developing wine sales and portfolio strategies to achieve sales targets and support overall business growth.
Responsible for driving wine portfolio sales performance, developing business strategies, managing key accounts, and coordinating with distributors to achieve sales targets.
Oversees distributor performance across assigned regions, manages sales coverage, ensures wine portfolio availability and distribution, and drives distribution growth.
Leads wine portfolio strategy, manages sales and marketing execution, and ensures business growth and profitability.
Plans and manages wine-focused brand activation strategies, wine tasting programs, trade events, and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness, consumer engagement, and market penetration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with international wine principals and key trade stakeholders, while providing market insights and business updates.
Develop market opportunities for the wine portfolio across relevant channels, including HORECA, retail, and other potential channels.
Monitor wine portfolio performance, market trends, competitor activities, sales forecasts, stock movement, and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
General Qualifications
Candidates should have relevant education and experience in related fields, with a minimum of five years of experience in the same field, preferably with solid experience in wine sales, brand management, trade marketing, or business development within the wine/beverage industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of wine products, market dynamics, HORECA, and wine consumer trends will be highly preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and coordination skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants should be detail-oriented, well organized, and proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools with strong analytical and commercial thinking skills. Experience in managing principals, distributors, forecasting, budgeting, and wine brand activation will be an advantage.
Willingness to travel and work across assigned markets as required is expected, and good proficiency in English is essential for communication with international principals.
