ACCOUNT MANAGER (Point of Sales Hardware)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager specialising in Point of Sales (POS) Hardware to join PT Kahar Duta Sarana. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta, where you will play a crucial role in managing and developing key client relationships within our POS hardware division. As Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and expanding our market presence in the competitive POS hardware sector. This role is integral to our sales strategy and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business trajectory whilst building long-term partnerships with our most valued clients.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling POS hardware solutions

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the POS hardware market, conducting prospecting activities and converting leads into contracted accounts

• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs and business objectives
• Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring profitable deals whilst maintaining positive relationships
• Monitor account performance, track sales metrics and provide regular updates on progress towards targets to management
• Collaborate with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support of POS hardware solutions for clients
• Gather market intelligence and feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract closure and account servicing
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new leads
• What we're looking for

Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the POS hardware, technology, or retail solutions sector

Strong understanding of Point of Sales hardware systems, technology infrastructure and the requirements of retail or hospitality environments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously whilst meeting or exceeding sales targets and deadlines
• A results-driven mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills
• Self-motivated and proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous
• Willingness to travel within Jakarta and surrounding areas for client meetings and relationship building
