About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to join our team at PT Mitraindo Adi Perkasa. This position is based in Balongbendo, East Java
What you'll be doing
Job Description
- Lead and oversee the accounting and tax functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage tax planning, tax reporting, and tax compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities when necessary.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance to support management decision-making.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting and tax team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and prevailing tax regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support business growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and business operations.
- What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and Tax, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, financial reporting standards (PSAK), and accounting principles.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries is highly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
