ASSISTANT MANAGER - EXPORT IMPORT

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export and import operations.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian trade regulations, licensing, and customs requirements.
- Prepare, review, and control all import and export documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, banks, surveyors, and government authorities.
- Lead daily operational activities and drive process improvements.
- Support the Import Manager in departmental operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in export/import, customs, international trade, or logistics.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Strong document management, administrative, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

- Preferred Qualifications
Experience or knowledge in
- Indonesian import licensing (PI), export procedures, and customs regulations.
- HS Code classification, INSW, CEISA, and Incoterms® 2020.
- Steel industry import/export operations.
- Letter of Credit (L/C), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and international shipping documentation.
