Assistant

• Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily cafe operations and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Support the barista and kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service counters, kitchen areas, and equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Help prepare ingredients, tools, and workstations for baking classes and workshops.
• Assist instructors during baking classes by supporting participants and ensuring activities run smoothly.
• Clean and organize the classroom and baking equipment before and after each session.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Perform other operational tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cafe, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Interest in baking or cooking classes is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and support both cafe and workshop operations.
• Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and good teamwork skills.
