- Job description for AWS Cloud Engineer at SotaTek
- We are looking for an experienced
- AWS Cloud Engineer
to join our team, responsible for building, operating, and optimizing the company-wide infrastructure platform and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to drive automation, accelerate release cycles, and ensure the reliability and security of our production systems through these key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and operate production cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
- Support containerization and orchestration for applications.
- Build and operate monitoring, logging, and tracing systems to enable early detection and efficient troubleshooting.
- Work closely with development teams to provide DevOps best practices and continuously improve engineering workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle production incidents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have
- At least 2 years of experience as a AWS Cloud Engineer/ DevOps Engineer (or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Japanese projects, strong understanding of JP processes, and high attention to detail.
- Techinal skills
Hands-on experience with AWS services
EC2, ECS, EKS
- VPC, Subnets, Route Tables
- Security Groups, NACLs
- Application Load Balancer, Network Load Balancer, CloudFront, WAF
- Identity & security: IAM users, roles, and policies
- Monitoring & operations: CloudWatch (metrics, logs, alarms)
