Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable APIs, backend services, and event-driven workflows.
- Develop database models and integrations for business-critical systems.
- Own services through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Improve performance, reliability, and security.
- Review code, guide architecture decisions, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and third-party integrations.
- Practical experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Experience with automated testing, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
- Ability to explain system design decisions and technical trade-offs.
- Experience using Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, or equivalent AI coding tools for development, testing, and debugging.
- Ability to verify AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability, and handle sensitive data appropriately.
- Full WFO at SCBD, South Jakarta.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Experience with payments, inventory, fulfillment, or high-volume transactional systems.
- Experience with autoscaling and zero-downtime deployments.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs, structured outputs, and tool calling.
