  • # What We Are Looking For
  • ## Core Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience building backend applications or services.
  • Strong programming fundamentals; Go is preferred, while experience with Java or other backend languages is also welcome.
  • Good understanding of APIs, databases, software design, and backend engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Ability to translate requirements into practical technical designs and implementations.
  • Understanding of reliability concepts such as retries, idempotency, concurrency, error handling, and failure scenarios.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and production deployments.
  • Willingness to own production systems, including monitoring, debugging, on-call, and incident response.
  • Basic understanding of secure software development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, and willingness to learn.
  • ## Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)
  • Production experience with Go or Java.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, banking, reconciliation, financial systems, or Web3.
  • Experience with distributed systems, messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, or caching technologies such as Redis.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
  • Frontend experience with Vue.js or Nuxt.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
