Baker Technologist

• Understanding and presenting Lesaffre technology & product solutions to customers
• Preparing technical presentation to customers and internal team
• Conducting technical training to customers and internal team
• Developing bakery product recipes using Lesaffre products for relevant customers
• Developing baking procedures for relevant customers
• Conducting baking performance and benchmarking trials
• Supporting various baking related marketing initiatives, such as baking demo or baking video tutorials.
• Building working relationship with customer’s bakers/technical function
• Supporting various business initiatives to win projects leading to Lesaffre product adoption
• Understanding customer’s technical needs for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Collaborating with various functions for different business initiatives, such as sales, marketing, quality.
• Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of baking area and equipment
• Periodical reporting to management as required by business

We’re looking for someone who is

• Education min D-3 from food technology, baking academy, food and hospitality course with bakery focus
• Intermediate conversational English skill ability, verbal and written.
• Minimum 5-7 professional baking experiences in medium-large scale bakery or bakery ingredient supplier
• Bread making skill and familiarity with modern, preferably industrial, bread making machinery and equipment
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Willing to travel for customer visits and training
• Humble and easy to work with across different levels
• Interactive communicative and engaged with both customers and the team
• Proactive with strong initiative
• Collaborative across teams and functions
• Innovative, open to new ideas and approaches
• Familiarity with basic computer programs (MS Office, Online Forms, email)
• No dietary restrictions that are contradictory to bakery industry, ex. Gluten intolerance.
