Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the barista team; handle hiring, training, and termination of staff.
- Develop and update drink recipes; introduce seasonal specials.
- Control beverage quality and consistency; adjust grinders and recipes daily.
- Manage inventory – order supplies, track stock, prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular stocktakes to minimize waste and control costs.
- Organize workspace layout for efficient workflow during rushes.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
- Maintain availability of all menu items; liaise with kitchen/FOH as needed.
- Maintain espresso machines and equipment; schedule maintenance when required.
