A well-established multinational group in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join its Sales Administration team in Jakarta. This role sits at the heart of our commercial planning and reporting, turning raw sales and operations data into insights that support strategic decision-making across the business. You will work closely with Commercial & Planning and gain broad cross-functional exposure, with a clear path to grow from a reporting role into a trusted analyst who explains the “why” behind the numbers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, and validate sales & operations data from multiple sources (ERP, sales team, distributors, production reports), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support the monthly planning cycle - prepare sales forecasts, track actual vs. budget and actual vs. forecast performance, and compile sales appraisal data.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and commercial performance metrics to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain regular reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and other related tasks as required.
- Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (S1), all majors are welcome; a background in Marketing, Finance, Management, or Statistics is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, sales analysis, or planning; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong data analysis and analytical review skills (sales, market, and commercial performance).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning).
- Solid understanding of sales forecasting, budgeting, and commercial/business planning processes.
- Good communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate cross-departmentally (Commercial, PPIC, Finance).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); working knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.
- Intermediate English, both written and spoken.
