About the role

• We are seeking a talented and ambitious
• Business Development professional
• to join our growing team at Ride Blitz in South Jakarta. This is a
• full-time position

that plays a strategic role in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, and driving sustainable growth for the organisation.

As Business Development specialist, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, exploring partnership opportunities, and developing strategies that enhance our competitive position in the transportation industry. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's trajectory and success in the Jakarta market and beyond.

• What you'll be doing
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams aligned with company objectives
• Developing and implementing business development strategies to expand market share and customer acquisition
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders across the transportation and mobility sectors
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
• Preparing and delivering compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective partners and clients
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
• Collaborating with internal teams including sales, marketing, and operations to execute business development initiatives
• Monitoring and reporting on business development metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform strategy adjustments
• Attending industry events, networking sessions, and conferences to build brand awareness and establish valuable connections
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the transportation, mobility, or technology sectors
• Strong understanding of the Jakarta market and Southeast Asian business landscape
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all organisational levels
• Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable business strategies
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of successfully securing partnerships and contracts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
• Results-driven mindset with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with stakeholder management and presenting to senior-level executives is preferred
• Knowledge of the mobility or ride-sharing industry is advantageous
