About the role
- We are seeking a
- Business Development
- professional to join UPSCALE on a
- contract basis

- Bandung, West Java
, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. This position is fundamental to driving our growth agenda and expanding our market footprint within the region. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, partners and stakeholders whilst developing compelling business cases that deliver measurable returns.
- What you'll be doing
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential business partnerships that align with company strategy
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to inform business development strategies
- Develop and present compelling business proposals and pitches to prospective clients and partners
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and strategic partners
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to secure new business agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of new business initiatives
- Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline progress and key performance indicators
- Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to expand market presence
- Develop strategic plans and forecasts for revenue growth and market expansion
- What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales or account management roles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into profitable business relationships
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience developing business plans, proposals and go-to-market strategies
- Proficiency in CRM systems and business development tools
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Fluency in English and Indonesian language skills are advantageous
- Familiarity with the Bandung, West Java market and local business networks is preferred
