Lead the assessment of micro credit operations across selected business areas to identify process gaps, operational inefficiencies, risk exposures, and improvement opportunities.
Conduct end-to-end assessments of the micro credit lifecycle, from customer acquisition, application, credit assessment, approval, disbursement, monitoring, and collection.
Evaluate existing credit processes, operating models, policies, systems, organizational structures, and people capabilities to identify areas for transformation.
Develop practical and data-driven recommendations across process, risk policy, technology, and people to improve credit efficiency, risk management, customer experience, and business performance.
Lead cross-functional diagnostic sessions with Credit, Risk, Business, Operations, Technology, Product, and other relevant stakeholders.
Assess the effectiveness and alignment of existing micro credit policies, procedures, controls, and approval processes with business and risk objectives.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and optimize end-to-end credit processes while maintaining appropriate risk controls.
Evaluate technology and system capabilities supporting micro credit operations and identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and process enablement.
Assess organizational roles, responsibilities, workforce capacity, skills, and operating structures to identify people-related improvement opportunities.
Develop and evaluate alternative operating models to improve efficiency, scalability, risk management, and service delivery across micro credit operations.
Prioritize transformation initiatives based on business impact, customer impact, risk, feasibility, cost, and implementation complexity.
Translate assessment findings and strategic recommendations into a clear actionable implementation roadmap, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
Develop business cases, management presentations, transformation reports, and supporting analysis for senior management and key stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management, Banking, Risk Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in banking, financial services, credit operations, lending, business transformation, or related fields.
Strong experience in micro banking, micro lending, retail lending, or credit operations.
Proven experience leading credit operations assessment, business transformation, process improvement, or end-to-end process redesign initiatives.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end micro credit lifecycle, including credit assessment, approval, disbursement, monitoring, and collection.
Experience developing Target Operating Models (TOM), operating model improvements, or organizational transformation frameworks is highly preferred.
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex operational issues and translate findings into practical solutions.
