Job Description / Responsibilities
Lead the extraction, consolidation, cleaning, and analysis of raw client data to support product, market, customer, branch, and sales strategy assessments.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify business trends, performance drivers, customer behavior, sales opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
- Translate raw data into actionable insights and recommendations that support business and strategy decision-making.
- Develop repeatable analytical views, reports, dashboards, and data models to monitor business and sales performance.
- Build and maintain dashboards using Excel and Business Intelligence tools to present key findings in a clear and decision-oriented manner.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, transformation, and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.
Analyze banking-related data, including product performance, customer segments, branch performance, sales productivity, transaction trends, and channel performance.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop analytical frameworks to evaluate product, market, and sales performance.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and deep dives to answer specific business and strategic questions from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Present analytical findings and translate complex data into clear business insights for strategy teams, management, and client stakeholders.
Collaborate with business, strategy, product, sales, and data teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Analytics Consulting, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in data extraction, data cleaning, data transformation, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, data analysis, and visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, querying, joining, filtering, aggregation, and analysis is highly preferred.
- Experience with Python for data analysis, data processing, or automation is an advantage.
- Experience using Business Intelligence / Data Visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, is preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret banking, financial services, customer, product, branch, sales, and transaction data.
- Able to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and performance drivers from large datasets.
Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard development, with the ability to present insights in a clear and business-oriented manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Able to work with raw and unstructured client data and transform it into meaningful analytical outputs.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in banking, financial services, consulting, or strategy projects is highly preferred.
