About the role
- Shape Haus is seeking a dedicated and professional
- Butler & Assistant
- to join our team in Klungkung District, Klungkung, Bali. This is a
- full-time position
that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service throughout our property. As a Butler & Assistant, you will be the cornerstone of our front office and guest services operations, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality.
- Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised concierge services and guest assistance, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs with professionalism and discretion
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with efficiency, warmth and attention to detail
- Maintain impeccable standards of personal presentation and professional conduct at all times
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Arrange transportation, dining reservations, local experiences and other guest amenities as requested
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to enhance their stay
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding all guest information and interactions
- Perform general administrative tasks and support duties as required
- Ensure the front office and common areas remain immaculate and welcoming at all times
- What we're looking for
- Prior experience in a butler, concierge or luxury guest services role, preferably in a high-end hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage warmly with diverse guests
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail in all tasks
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are highly desirable
- Impeccable personal grooming and professional presentation standards
- Discretion, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Knowledge of the Bali region, local attractions and cultural practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with property management systems and booking platforms is beneficial
