About the role
- We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier / Waitress to provide attentive service and handle guest payments accurately.
- Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, explain menu items, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Enter orders into the POS system and coordinate with the kitchen and service team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and check on guest satisfaction.
- Prepare bills and process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Check the cash float, reconcile daily transactions, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain clean and organized tables, cashier counters, and service areas.
- Support opening and closing duties, including preparing cashier reports.
- Respond politely to guest inquiries and refer complaints to the supervisor when needed.
- Follow food hygiene standards and company procedures.
- About you
- Previous experience as a cashier, waitress, or in restaurant service is preferred.
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Friendly, honest, responsible, and attentive to detail.
- Able to work well in a team and during busy service periods.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
