About the role

, this role is fundamental to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Casual Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant and bar operations, ensuring every guest interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service and hospitality. This position offers the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment whilst contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the success of our establishment.
- What you'll be doing
- Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism upon their arrival and seating them appropriately
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicating them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring correct presentation and temperature
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, daily specials and beverages to enhance the dining experience
- Clearing tables efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the dining area
- Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
- Maintaining awareness of guests' needs throughout their meal and promptly responding to any requests or concerns
- Setting tables correctly with appropriate cutlery, glassware and napkins before service
- Assisting with general restaurant tidiness and preparation tasks as required
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- What we're looking for
- Previous experience working as a waiter, waitress or in a similar hospitality role, ideally in a hotel or restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences
- Strong communication abilities in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are advantageous
- Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods during service
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and proper table service techniques
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude towards work
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and guest preferences
- Certification in food hygiene and safety is preferred
