Job description
- Supervise and coordinate electrical works during ship repair activities.
- Monitor electrical installation, motor overhauling, cable works, termination, and equipment connection.
- Support troubleshooting, testing, and inspection activities.
- Ensure work quality, safety, and compliance with drawings/procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians regarding work progress.
- Guide technicians/helpers and provide daily work updates.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of electrical work experience; shipyard/ship repair experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Familiar with electrical installation, cable termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good leadership, communication skills, and safety awareness.
- Good command of English is preferred.
- Willing to work in a shipyard environment and support overtime when required.
