About the role
- PT Arise Web Control Indonesia is seeking a
- Chinese Assistant
to join our growing team in Tangerang, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our operations and facilitating communication with our Chinese-speaking clients and partners. As a Chinese Assistant, you will be instrumental in bridging language and cultural gaps, ensuring smooth administrative operations and enhancing our service delivery to international stakeholders.
- What you'll be doing
- Providing translation and interpretation services for Chinese language communications, including emails, documents, and meetings
- Supporting administrative tasks and coordinating with Chinese-speaking clients and business partners
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of documentation and correspondence in both English and Chinese
- Facilitating communication between internal teams and external Chinese-speaking contacts
- Managing schedules, appointments and travel arrangements for team members engaging with Chinese stakeholders
- Supporting the organisation of meetings, conferences and events involving Chinese-speaking participants
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems for administrative documentation
- Providing general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations
- What we're looking for
- Fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) with strong English language skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in a multinational or international environment
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling translated materials
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with office software and tools
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity in cross-cultural communication
- Experience with translation tools and technology is desirable
