Reports to: Reports directly to the Marketing & Communications Lead. Visual and tonal output is reviewed and approved by Jan H. (CCO) before posting.
Employment basis: 6 working days per week, 8 hours per day. Based on-site in Canggu / Bali — physical presence at the venue is essential because most content originates from the floor, the courts, the Recover area, and the community life of the club.
Role summary: Hands-on creative executor responsible for the day-to-day social media output of Nomads Padel Village. Owns the camera, the grid, the editing timeline, the captions, the comments, and the ground-level capture. A doing role, not a directing role: every piece of content that goes out (Instagram feed, reels, stories, TikTok, YouTube shorts, app and website supporting assets) is produced or coordinated by this person under the direction of the M&C Lead and approved by the CCO.
- Key responsibilities
- Own the social media calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (shorts and long), and any other channel approved by the M&C Lead. Plan, shoot, edit, schedule, post, and report.
- Capture original content on-site daily: padel matches, classes, Recover rituals, member moments, behind-the-scenes, F&B, events, and the slower 'Sanctuary' aesthetic moments that make Nomads memorable.
- Edit and post to a consistent visual and tonal standard. Receive grid feedback from the CCO before publishing major moments and from the M&C Lead daily.
- Manage the comment layer: respond to questions, flag prospects to the M&C Lead for follow-up, surface community feedback, and protect the tone in public conversations.
- Coordinate paid social executions when briefed by the M&C Lead — boost posts, build asset variations for ad sets, and report performance back.
- Coordinate with brand ambassadors and content collaborators. Manage day-of logistics for shoots involving members, athletes, or partners.
- Maintain the asset library: organised, tagged, retrievable. Photo, video, raw and edited.
- Stay current on platform changes (formats, algorithm shifts, trends worth participating in vs trends to ignore) and bring informed proposals.
- Help build the Nomads visual archive over time — content that is still useful in Year 3, not just Week 1
