Job Description
- Swiss German University is seeking a passionate and qualified
- Full-Time Lecturer
- to join the
- Global Strategic Communications (GSC)
Study Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, academic advising, and supporting the development of the program.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver undergraduate courses in the Global Strategic Communication and KDM programs, with a teaching load of:
Odd Semester
12 credits (3 GSC courses and 1 KDM course)
Even Semester
- 15 credits (3 GSC courses and 1 KDM course)
- Provide academic advising and mentoring for Global Strategic Communication students (Class of 2026 onwards).
- Conduct research and publish at least
- one academic publication annually
- Participate in at least
- one community service project each year
- Support faculty marketing and student recruitment initiatives through workshops, school visits, and outreach activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, and other departmental activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum
- Master's Degree in Communication
- or a related field.
- Fluent in
- English
- , both written and spoken.
- Proficient in
- Adobe Creative Suite
- , including
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Experience teaching one or more of the following subjects
- Digital Content Creation
- Multimedia Production
- Photography
- Event Management
- Media Management
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about teaching, research, and student development.
- Prior university teaching experience is preferred.
