About the role

Sikara Lombok Hotel is seeking an experienced Driver to join our hospitality team. This is a contract position based in Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat. As Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and professional transportation services for our guests and staff, ensuring they arrive at their destinations on time and in comfort. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service that define our hotel experience and contributes directly to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• What you'll be doing
• Transporting hotel guests to and from the airport, local attractions, restaurants and other destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Maintaining the vehicle in clean, well-maintained condition, both internally and externally, at all times
• Conducting regular vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements promptly
• Operating the vehicle safely and responsibly in compliance with traffic laws and local regulations
• Planning efficient routes to ensure guests arrive at their destinations on schedule
• Providing directions and recommendations about local attractions, restaurants and points of interest when requested
• Assisting guests with luggage and ensuring their comfort during journeys
• Maintaining professional appearance and demeanour at all times when representing the hotel
• Keeping accurate records of journeys, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
• Communicating professionally with guests, hotel staff and other drivers
• What we're looking for
• Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type, with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience in hospitality, tourism or passenger transport services
• Excellent knowledge of local roads, routes and destinations in Lombok and surrounding areas
• Strong communication skills in Indonesian and English, with basic conversational ability in other languages being advantageous
• Professional and courteous demeanour with a genuine commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations, including challenging traffic conditions
• Responsible attitude towards vehicle maintenance and fuel efficiency
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
