About the role

• We are seeking a talented
• Finance, Accounting and Tax professional
• to join our team at EPL Group in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a
• full-time position

that plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing strategic tax guidance to support the organisation's financial objectives. You will be responsible for managing key accounting functions whilst ensuring all financial records are maintained to the highest standards and in accordance with applicable regulations and accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and accounting records in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions

Conduct financial reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Provide tax compliance support, including the preparation of tax documentation and coordination with tax authorities to ensure adherence to tax obligations

• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to strengthen financial governance
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and strategic planning
• Monitor and track accounting entries to ensure accuracy and proper classification of transactions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, to facilitate seamless financial operations
• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations of accounting treatments
• What we're looking for
• A qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration)
• Relevant professional certification or qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting credential
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in financial accounting, reporting, or a similar role within a large or complex organisation
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting frameworks (such as IFRS or local accounting standards)
• Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Solid understanding of tax regulations and tax compliance requirements relevant to the Indonesian business environment
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software tools
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and audit procedures is highly desirable
• Fluent in English, Mandarin preferable
