Finance Accounting Tax Assistant Manager

We are seeking a Finance Accounting Tax Assistant Manager to join our growing finance team in Jakarta Raya on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in managing our accounting and tax functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the financial health of the organisation. As an Assistant Manager, you will bridge operational finance activities with senior management, providing oversight and guidance to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory adherence across all accounting and tax matters.

• Key responsibilities
• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Manage tax compliance activities, including tax calculations, tax return preparation, and submission of required tax documentation
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure the organisation remains compliant
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting procedures and best practices
• Conduct reconciliation of accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support decision-making by senior leadership
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required
• Maintain organised financial documentation and ensure proper record-keeping protocols are followed
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting and taxation
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting certification is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines
• Demonstrated understanding of internal controls and financial compliance requirements
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting is advantageous
