About the role

. This is a pivotal position within our finance function, responsible for overseeing financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements whilst providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. This role is essential to maintaining robust financial controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Oversee the general ledger and ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjusting entries
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes and resolve audit findings
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics and variances
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and accounting standards, and manage tax reporting submissions
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting policies and procedures
• Liaise with parent company or international stakeholders, communicating financial information in Mandarin as required
• Implement and improve financial accounting systems and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and collection
• What we're looking for

Qualification and Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (such as CPA or equivalent) is preferred

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Language Proficiency

Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages

Accounting Knowledge

In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK), tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements

Attention to Detail

Exceptional ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting

Analytical Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends and provide financial insights

Leadership

Proven ability to manage and develop team members, with strong interpersonal skills

Regulatory Compliance

Familiarity with audit requirements and best practices in internal controls
