Finance Specialist - Mandarin Speaker

Handle full set of accounts and tax (FAT) for PT Momas Global International, ensuring accurate financial reporting and full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, while bridging communication with Mandarin-speaking management.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain full set of accounts (FAT) — general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly financial statements.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting and filing (PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25/29, PPN, and other applicable taxes) in compliance with Indonesian tax law.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and inter-company transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities (DJP) as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience, with hands-on experience in full set of accounts and Indonesian tax.
- Fluent Mandarin is mandatory — daily communication with Mandarin-speaking management is required.
- Working proficiency in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN) and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to work independently under deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred
- Brevet A/B tax certification.
- Experience working in a Chinese-affiliated or multinational company.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Accurate, MYOB).
